1. FIsher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-Pillar Twist.

This is the newer model of the Fisher Price Code- a -Pillar. It’s a great toy for children ages 3-6 to help them learn to think like coders! The code-a-pillar twist has a motorized head and 5 permanet segments. Each segment has a dial children can twist to code the code-a-pillar’s actions!

2. Code Bunnyz

This is a board game developed by a 9 year old (!) to teach kids (ages 4+) the basics of coding. In this game, you use the code cards to program your bunny to go through a maze, eat carrots and reach its destination! Teaches children coding concepts like looping, functions and conditionals.

3. Fisher Price Code β€˜n Learn Kinderbot.

This is an interactive robot for children ages 3-6. There are 3 ways to play: Coding, learning challenges (included) and secret codes (an included booklet to offer even more challenges). It also comes with 4 accessories to increase the possibilities. Children use the buttons on the robot to code him. In the challenge mode, the children are told what to do, but they need to figure out how to code the robot to do it.

4. Qobo Coding Robot

This robot is designed for ages 3-8. There are 2 ways to code this robot. The first way is screen free. Kids use coding cards to code movement , lights to sounds. Kids lay out and connect the cards(starting with the start code and ending with the red gem). The other way to code is online using the ozoblockly drag and drop coding program. Having 2 ways to codes opens up more possibilities and gives children even more ways to challenge themselves!

5. LEGO Boost Creative Toolbox 17101 Fun Robot Building Set

This one toy can actually be made into 5 different robots! Suggested for kids ages 7-12, users can make and program 5 different robots: Vernie the robot, a guitar, Frankie the Cat, an auto builder, and a multi-tooled rover. The Lego Boost Creative Toolbox allows for lots of creativity and tons of projects! The robot can be programmed to dance, the guitar to play music, the auto builder to build actual Lego models, the cat to play and purr and the rover has 4 different attachment tools to use. A mobile device or tablet is required to program the robots.

6. Think Fun Code Master

This is a programming logic board game for children ages 8+ that has been out for a while. With 60 levels to solve, there’s a lot of game to play here! Using action tokens and conditional tokens, players create a program that will lead their avatar to collect all the crystals and land at the portal. The challenges increase in difficulty as you play through them, so the logic skills continue to increase as you go!

7. Code Piano

This is a great toy for children ages 8-12 who are also interested in music! Kids learn how to make and modify electronic music of their own. There is a free online project guide to help them get started. You will need a computer to download the free software in order to program the β€œpiano.” The Code piano includes speakers and a USB cable. Kids write code that they load onto the piano to do things like: play notes of an 8 key piano, play songs, Morse code messaging, random tone sequences, and a sound effects sampler.
