I'm having issues with checkout. Can you help?
Our new payment and checkout method is greatly improved from last year, but it is still a work in progress. On our registration page, you will see a listing of all events. We recommend using the filters at the top of the page, then clicking details by the class of your choice.
To register your child, fill out the form at the bottom of the page and pay to sign your child up.
Some additional options this year include adding an additional child at the top of the page, ordering an extra t-shirt, before and after care for some classes, adding additional classes from a registration form of a different class, and split payments (pay over time).
I see you guys are now offering a promo code, but I already bought a camp. Can you apply the promo code to my purchase?
Yes, let us know and we will gladly refund the difference.
Do you offer any promo codes?
We do not offer any regular or recurring promo codes. You might be able to find one through a partner or summer camp directory, and a sibling discount is automatically applied to all camps when you use the "add additional child" feature.
I live in a place where you don't offer a camp or class. Can you guys come to me?
It would be our pleasure! We are open to coming to schools or small groups in Texas. Shoot us a message and let us know if you have a facility or location in mind.
Can my child join the camp that is [older or younger] than their current age?
It really depends on your child. If a 2nd grader is super mature and has worked on code.org, they would probably do fine in a Scratch class. Many parents want to advance their children in coding more quickly than they should. Our pacing and recommended grades are based on our experience working with kids of all ages.
Do you provide lunch at your summer camps?
We do not provide lunch, but we do provide some light snacks. We take a lunch break around 11:45 AM. Please send your child with lunch daily.
Do you have recess or exercise breaks?
Some locations offer a playground or outdoor area for play. Other locations will be indoor only.
If my child misses a class, can they make it up?
For after-school classes, time does not permit any make-ups. For summer camps, we can arrange for a student to stay late on a day to make up part of a lesson.
Can I get a refund?
Check out our full refund policy at our refund policy page for more information. Generally we are flexible but within 2 weeks of camp, our refund policy becomes more strict.
What happens if my child breaks a computer?
So far we haven't had any accidents. Please teach your child to be careful with technology before they attend. If it is truly an accident, it is really no problem. If it is intentional, we will ask that your child not return to class.
