As a small business, we have used a variety of tools that we feel make your life easier as a business owner. Check out the following tools, and if something strikes you as interesting, give it a closer look!

  • QuickBooks

    We use QuickBooks for our accounting. QuickBooks is the world’s largest Accounting platform for small and midsize businesses - it can be a little complicated to use at times, but financial management is worth it!

  • Acodei

    Software Development Agency. Acodei is the software development agency that built our registration platform. The website you see now is hosted by Squarespace, but register.coderkids.com was built fully by Acodei, as well as our back end work.

  • Gusto

    Gusto is our HR management tool, and we highly recommend it. It really simplifies the process of paying people and government reporting. That saves us a huge amount of time!

  • Canva

    Canva is a great deisgn resource! You can use Canva’s drag-and-drop feature and professional layouts to design consistently stunning graphics. You can also create your own layouts, or customize the ones they have.

  • Mailchimp

    We use Mailchimp to manage our email lists and send out our newsletters and any other emails to our customers. It also provides data about how your messages were received and allows you to send automated emails. There are a lot of email blast providers out there, and Mailchimp isn’t perfect - but it is free to start and it gets the word out!

  • Dialpad

    Dialpad is a business phone system that you can connect to any device and use anywhere. We use it to manage our business line and it works great! They also offer Contact Center Support, Video Conferencing and Sales support. We have previously used a variety of phone plans for business, and we landed on Dialpad - we are fans of the mobile app and desktop integration.

  • Slack

    Slack gives you access to real-time text and phone call conversations with any teammate or team. It’s faster than email and you can upload files to share as well. We use Slack as our main form of communication for the Coder Kids Team.

  • Buffer

    Buffer is a social media management tool. We use it to schedule all of social media posts in advance advance. It simplifies all of your accounts into one convinient spot!

    We use Squarespce to design and maintain this website. We like having the felxiblity to work on our own website on our own time, and have access to professional looking templates and help.
