Ready to start playing Fortnite?! It’s one of the most popular video games out there! At Coder Kids, we love Fortnite, and offer several different Fortnite camps and Classes. You can check them out here.

If you are a kid (or an adult) just getting started with Fortnite, you may have some questions about the game. One of those questions is probably, “What Computer Do You Need to Play Fortnite?”

The bare minimum system requirements for what you’ll need to play Fortnite are:

  • Intel HD 4000 on PC; Intel Iris Pro 5200 or equivalent AMD GPU on Mac

  • Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz

  • 4 GByte RAM

  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit + macOS version 10.14.6

  • Mac computers must support Metal API

The recommended system requirements are:

  • Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 equivalent DX11 GPU

  • 2 GByte VRAM

  • Core i5-7300U 3.5 GHz

  • 8 GByte RAM

  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit + macOS versions 10.14.6 or newer
